THERMAXX:
As you know, there is a nationwide request for PPE donations, which is vitally essential for front line workers in the COVID-19 crisis. Thermaxx, an insulation manufacturing company in West Haven, has refocused its company’s business to making protective gowns, as recommended by the CDC, for crisis inventory for first responders and hospital personnel. Gowns are donated, and Thermaxx has absorbed the cost of material and labor themselves.
They use Tyvek house wrap in anything equal to or greater than 5′ wide rolls and are looking for a source of supply for amounts that meet the increasing demand. Thermaxx can make 30 gowns per 200′ roll of Tyvek. As of today, they have a request for 10K gowns.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
If you can donate to help Thermaxx , please contact Sheila Leach 860-402-0008 or [email protected] with the number of Tyvek rolls full or partial you have to give with name and Phone number. Donations can be delivered to Thermaxx, or they have a team of volunteers that will pick up.
Let us know if you have any questions. We thank you for your consideration during this time of need.
